Job description
You will be responsible for preparing the most delicious fresh and home-made dishes and the associated activities. You keep your cool and your production sky-high when the receipts sometimes fly in faster than fly out
Requirements
- You have followed a relevant kitchen education and/or have extensive and demonstrable experience behind the bar.
- You don’t have this? If you are highly motivated we would like to teach you the intricacies of this wonderful field and you will show us that you can handle this position.
- That hospitable, enthusiastic, social, flexible and stress-resistant head on your shoulders and that 'come on guys, step up!'' approach of you together with a 'hands-on' mentality is why we want you so much and you colleagues will enjoy working with you.
- You must be able to speak English fluently.
- You are available full-time from April 1 until November 1, 2022.
- In Holland you need a BSN number (a personal tax number) to be allowed to work. If you do not have this, we will assist you with applying for this upon arrival here.
- You also need to apply for a Dutch health insurance when you are here, we can also assist with this process.
We offer
- Starting salary of € 13.50 an hour, this can grow fast if you proof yourself in the function. We pay 20-25% more than the restaurant CLA in the Netherlands prescribes.
- We can arrange your sleeping place for a fee (from € 8.00 a night for a shared room, €10-12 for a private room and more options for studios and apartments at with increased prices). If you stay the entire season we require a deposit for this room
- Because of our busy high season, we have many hours available to work
- Meals at work (also on your off-days)
- We will refund you with your travel costs to get here (based on actual costs and lowest prices possible)
