Working with a view of the most beautiful sunset of Ameland, over the marina, or at our culinary hotspots in the center of Nes. Ameland receives more than 600,000 tourists every year. A large part of this settles down on the lounge sofas of our beautiful locations. With an average review of 4 out of 5 stars, we're in great shape. As a team we do everything we can to keep it that way and improve it where possible. During the high season people work hard, but there is enough room for cool company parties and moments of rest to recharge completely.

You independently prepare the most delicious fresh and home-made dishes and you carry out the associated cleaning and dishwashing activities. You are the right hand of our chefs and you work closely with a team of other chefs and dishwashers. There is an uninhibited and relaxed atmosphere in which helping each other is central. There is a lot of mutual contact both during working hours and outside. In terms of living space on Ameland, we offer you - for a fee - a room, apartment or studio.

Your profile

At the Van Heeckeren Group, we think it is important that you can be yourself. That is why we are curious about who you are. For this vacancy you bring:

• Good command of the English language
• Experience in a professional kitchen or motivation to work in a professional kitchen
• Stress-resistant and solution-oriented character
• Fulltime availability from May 1 until November 1, 2023.
• In Holland you need a BSN number (a personal tax number) to be allowed to work. If you do not have this, we will assist you with applying for this upon arrival here.
• You also need to apply for a Dutch health insurance when you are here, we can also assist with this process.
